Arbor View New Home Community Proudly Announces...

Tradition”, “quality” and “timeless” are words which have been used to describe the prestigious communities that Matt Adam has developed in Southern Johnson County. Most recognized are Mills Farm, GlenEagles and GlenAbbey subdivisions. Arbor View is one of Matt’s most recent additions to his portfolio. A visionary with a discerning eye for detail, Matt Adam is highly respected for his commitment to exceptional architectural standards and landscaping detail. Incorporating tree-lined streets, beautiful entrances, monuments and recreational areas for homeowners have become hallmarks in his neighborhoods. Matt has once again brought together some of Overland Park’s finest home builders, who have a history of exceptional craftsmanship, to bring this community to life. It is not by chance that Matt Adam developments are known throughout the Kansas City area as exceptional places to live.

Arbor View, located at 179th Street & Kessler, in Overland Park (across from the Overland Park Arboretum), is a master planned community of approximately 129 single-family homes. Currently building is flourishing in the first three phases, known as Arbor View Meadows, where homes range in price from the mid $400’s to the upper $600s+. Sales have been brisk throughout the late summer and fall. Models and spec homes (several are furnished) are open to tour every day of the week. Buyers can select from an abundant variety of home sites; adjoining or backing to greenspace, daylight, walkout, treed and cul-de-sac locations.

“We are excited to announce the opening of our 4th Phase, which will include Arbor View Manor home sites! These home sites will offer larger lot widths and sizes to accommodate “Manor” homes with larger footprints and floor plan options,” said Alan Williams of Matt Adam Development.

The crowning jewel of Arbor View will be Blue Valley School District’s newest elementary school, opening in August 2017. The school will be situated right at the heart of the subdivision. Construction over the last year and a half has progressed well for much of the structure and surrounding grounds, now construction is being ramped up for the completion of the school by late Spring of 2017 for the August opening!

In addition to Arbor View, Matt Adam Development created the new home community of Mills Crossing, located at 159th Street and Melrose in Overland Park. The communities grand front entrance is just west of 159th and Switzer. Mills Crossing is an exclusive enclave of custom built luxury single-family homes which is limited to only 54 home sites. You will immediately notice and appreciate the tranquil setting that is felt within the community, feeling as though you’ve stepped out of the city and into the country. Nestled-in and bordered on one side by a green belt and natural stream corridor, individuals seeking a smaller community with a more secluded setting will embrace calling this neighborhood “home”. Home prices will range from the upper $500’s to $800+. Potential home owners have the opportunity of selecting from a wide variety of daylight, walkout, greenbelt and cul-de-sac home sites.

Mills Crossing has recently opened its 2nd Phase of home sites where building has already begun. Boasting several walk-out, daylight and cul-de-sac lots, the 2nd phase in Mills Crossing has been greeted by strong demand.

Coming home to Mills Crossing’s entrance of expansive stone walls accented with lantern-style lighting will reward you at the end of each day. When it comes time to relax, the Community Pavilion will be the perfect place to catch up with neighbors, friends and family. Enjoy a picnic alongside the salt water swimming pools or share a bottle of wine under the canopied seating area in front of the stone outdoor fireplace …the memories to be made are endless! Venture further into the subdivision, and a quaint foot bridge will be seen arching and crossing the natural stream corridor. For any homeowner who enjoys taking walks or bicycling, the bridge will provide an easy way to access other areas of the subdivision.
