For those looking to build their dream home this year, there are four Northland communities with a variety of new home sites now available. Whether resizing to a ranch home and the convenience of one-level living or going from a split-entry to a 2-story to accommodate a growing family. Hunt Midwest offers a community and home site that meets your needs.

Staley Hills
Surrounded by trees and greenspace, Staley Hills offers residents a retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life with two dramatic water features bordering the community’s entrance, a crystal clear swimming pool, scenic walking trails and beautiful, stone-clad homes lining the streets.

While it’s easy for those who live there to get lost in the serenity that comes with being tucked off North Woodland Avenue and Shoal Creek Parkway, just north of M-152, Staley Hills is close to many conveniences such as Zona Rosa and has excellent access to major highways, Kansas City International Airport and downtown Kansas City. It is located within the highly acclaimed North Kansas City School District where students attend Staley High School, New Mark Middle School and Bell Prairie Elementary School.

The sixth phase of Staley Hills is now open, featuring 61 homesites, with a limited number backing to trees or greenspace. An experienced team of seven builders including Aspen Homes, Freeman Custom Homes, McFarland Custom Builders, New Mark Homes, Olympus Custom Homes, Robertson Construction and Sallee Homes provide a wide selection of floor plans to choose from. There are four furnished model homes now open to tour including a 2-story, two reverse 1.5-stories and 1.5-story plans. Homes start in the upper $200,000s.
It’s never too early to start learning more about the new home buying experience. Deb DiPonio and Sara Stucker, Staley Hills’ community managers and ReeceNichols agents, are there six days a week to assist future residents along their home buying and building journey. More information about Staley Hills can be found by visiting HuntMiwestKC.com or by calling 816.942.5486.

Benson Place
Drive slowly through Benson Place on any given Saturday in the summer and you’ll quickly spot kids wobbling on bikes along the sidewalk, neighbors gathering for an impromptu party in the driveway or a group youth flagging motorists to stop at the neighborhood lemonade stand, inspired by a child in the community with Down Syndrome, where proceeds go to benefit Down Syndrome Guild of Kansas City.

The sense of community in Benson Place is just one of many attributes that have led to its popularity. Others include rolling hills, abundant parkland, and close proximity to the Shoal Creek Golf Course and Hodge Park. Benson Place is within the boundaries of the highly rated Liberty school district and just minutes from excellent shopping, downtown Kansas City and Kansas City International Airport.

The Reserve at Riverstone
Although The Reserve at Riverstone welcomed its first residents nearly eight years ago, recent improvements have left it looking and feeling like a brand new community.

Homeowners are eagerly anticipating this summer when they’ll enjoy the brand new community swimming pool and recreation area. Other additions include a grand, stone entrance monument and nearly 100 trees and other landscaping at the north entrance off of Tiffany Springs Road.

Forty premiere homesites were introduced in December as part of The Reserve at Riverstone’s second phase, with a limited number of these backing to open space.

“The Reserve at Riverstone has always been a beautiful neighborhood, but the improvements have made it simply stunning,” said Lisa White, community manager and ReeceNichols agent. “Interest from homebuyers has increased dramatically over the last year. People who want to build or buy new look for that community where they can see things are happening and, in Riverstone, construction is happening throughout.”

Aspen Homes, Sallee Homes, Brookeview Design Build, Robertson Construction and Ernst Brothers Construction have chosen to build their newest, most innovative floor plans and finishes in Riverstone. There are currently five homes under construction, including 2-story, 1.5-story and reverse 1.5-story floor plans, and one complete 1.5-story by Sallee Homes. Homes start in the mid $300,000s.

High-end amenities, a respected builder team and location within the award-winning Park Hill School District add to the laundry list of pluses for this community. In addition, its nearness to family oriented hotspots such as the Tiffany Springs Sports Complex, Springs Water Park and one of the city’s premier shopping districts, Zona Rosa, make The Reserve at Riverstone a top choice for families desiring luxury and convenience.

Lisa White and Julie Johnson have homes open Saturday and Sunday from 12-5pm or by appointment. To learn more about The Reserve at Riverstone, please visit HuntMidwestKC.com or call 816.584.2654.
