ParkView Homes Refines Building Techniques to Produce Quality Crafted, Distinctive Homes
The success and continued growth Chad Volkerding, president of ParkView Homes enjoys today, is a result of the leadership and true understanding of every facet of home construction gained during his 20+ years in the industry.

In every situation, he has been driven to provide the utmost quality and workmanship while incorporating cutting edge techniques. Through the years, Volkerding has built homes ranging from $200,000 to over $2 million and is currently building homes in the low $300s to $600s+ price range.

Chad’s attention to detail borders on compulsive. His floor plans are innovative, open and inviting. As a custom (semi-custom) home builder, Chad strives to blend the best of custom build advantages with the affordability of standard home construction. Many of their clients have chosen to modify one of their existing plans. In those cases the plans they build for their customers are regularly redrawn to offer an individual custom approach. This flexibility proves to be a good combination for most people.

"We've really worked hard to build a reputation of taking care of our clients and working very closely with them throughout the entire building process," Chad explained. "That's a high priority for ParkView Homes. From our first contact with our homebuyers through closing, we focus on our clients while maintaining open communication.”

Volkerding has earned his Master Builder Certification as well as the designation of a NAHB National Green Certified Builder. ParkView Homes’ incorporation of energy efficient materials and products such as R-45 blown in and touch and seal foam spray insulations, Lennox 92% efficient furnaces, Low-e dual pane argon filled glass windows and many more features demonstrate the company’s dedication to utilizing as many green building practices as possible.

With the understanding that building a home requires the skills of many different suppliers and quality trade partners, ParkView Homes has made a special effort to select a team who has demonstrated the attention to detail that is so important. As a team, everyone is eager to contribute to building homes above and beyond the normal building practices and influenced by the unique expertise Chad is continually acquiring through research and education.

“Combining great design with high performance at a reasonable cost—that is our mission,” Volkerding says. “Today’s more competitive environment definitely makes you sharpen your game, work harder and be more innovative. Customers, particularly now, want to see something different—and that’s why we are building more and more complete custom homes.”

ParkView Homes’ furnished model at the Southern Overland Park community of Chapel Hill reflects style and personality around every corner. Currently, Volkerding has a nice variety of plans available in various stages of construction.

Recently voted “Best New Home Community”, Chapel Hill remains the area’s most desirable community with all the highly sought-after amenities including an outstanding pool complex, hike and bike trails, playground and nearby Heritage Park. Chapel Hill is within minutes of fine dining, shopping, hospitals and family entertainment. The community consists of 240 acres of which 70 acres of greenspace has been reserved. Volkerding and the community’s other respected builders are now building on premium home sites in Chapel Hill’s amazing third phase where there is a variety of beautiful homesites including walk out, daylight and level to choose from.

Whether a customer is wanting a ranch, two-story, story-and-a-half or reverse story-and-a-half, ParkView Homes has exciting plans that offer their clients an exceptional value. By providing more desirable features as standard their customers feel they get more bang and value for their buck. Chad is adamant when it comes to detail and quality. And of course, there is always the option to customize with additional features. At Chapel Hill, there are a variety of beautiful home sites including walk out, daylight and level to choose from.

Chapel Hill will be completing a new phase in Dec.-Jan. presenting 71 beautiful lots of which 33 are highly sought after walkout opportunities. "We encourage everyone considering a new home in the next 12 months to take a look at these spectacular walkout lots and reserve one soon," said Chad Volkerding.
