Continued growth in 2014 is a direct result of strength, stability and an unwavering
commitment to the future: the hallmarks of Kansas City’s Hunt Midwest Residential.

Great communities are more than just streets, landscaping and houses. They are envisioned and planned from the ground up to create a welcoming and engaging sense of community for the families who eventually call them home.

In 2013, Hunt Midwest Residential celebrated 20 years of creating master planned developments where every possible element has been thoughtfully considered—and nothing overlooked. Visionary design, solid infrastructure, reputable builders, impressive recreational amenities, convenient locations and highly acclaimed school districts are all key ingredients Hunt Midwest Residential recognizes as essential to establishing great neighborhoods . This is what makes them successful and what allows them to grow.

“From our very first project, Hunt Midwest Residential included a level of amenities not always seen in new home communities in this price range,” explained Jenni Mann, marketing manager at Hunt Midwest Residential Real Estate Development, Inc. “The goal was to create neighborhoods that would stand the test of time and provide the most value for its residents.”

This philosophy of ensuring the most lasting value for families continues today. Hunt Midwest Residential continues to create dramatic, desirable neighborhoods that are functional and well-maintained. Innovation, creativity, and design excellence combine to realize the full potential of each new home community.

“Home” has diverse meanings to all age groups and lifestyles. People’s needs and desires are forever changing and evolving, making the big decision to purchase or build a new home more complex than ever. Hunt Midwest Residential works closely with the area’s top award-winning builders to offer a wide array of home styles and designs to choose from, creating neighborhoods that are as unique as the individuals who call them home.

Since 1993, Hunt Midwest Residential has developed more than 5,000 platted lots in master planned residential developments in Kansas City’s Northland, North Kansas City, Platte County, Lee’s Summit and Raymore, Missouri. The company is owned by the family of legendary sports pioneer and entrepreneur, Lamar Hunt.

“I’m thrilled to see the growth our company has experienced since the first home was built 20 years ago,” said Ora Reynolds, president of Hunt Midwest. “More importantly, the desire to give back and make Kansas City a better place is Lamar Hunt’s legacy. I am certain he would be pleased to see how many people have enjoyed raising their families in Hunt Midwest Residential communities throughout the Kansas City area.”

Several communities saw growth in 2013 including Running Horse, Staley Hills, Benson Place Fieldstone and Eagle Creek, all of which opened new phases.

“Last year was a transitional year for the housing industry,” explains Brenner Holland, general manager of Hunt Midwest Residential. “Home buyer and builder confidence returned and we developed four new phases as a result of the increased demand in homesites. We expect more of the same in 2014.”

In fact, Hunt Midwest Residential is not only planning to develop more phases this year, it’s also starting construction on three pool amenities including one in The Reserve at Riverstone, and second pools in both Benson Place and Eagle Creek.
