The fifth phase of Staley Hills opened in July and over half of the 42 home sites sold within a week after becoming available. Community managers Sara Stucker and Deb DiPonio, both of Reece & Nichols Realtors, have continued the selling frenzy through the Fall Parade of homes which ended October 13.

If you’re having difficulty finding the sales office in Staley Hills, it’s no wonder. Community managers Deb DiPonio and Sara Stucker have had to move from one inventory home to another as the houses continue to sell as soon as they’re complete.

“We’re down to just one finished inventory home,” says Stucker. “Deb and I don’t expect this popular floor plan by Robertson Construction to last much longer. The home is finished beautifully and priced very well for this area. I’m sure we’ll be moving again soon!”

There are 20 inventory homes in various stages of completion, providing buyers an opportunity to still choose their finishes. For those looking to build from the ground up, many choice home sites still remain. A new model row is currently under construction and will be ready to tour by spring of next year. It’s no surprise Staley Hills is popular amongst homebuyers. Framed by lushly landscaped entry monuments, two sparkling lakes, an abundance of natural areas and walking trails and a community swimming pool, the setting lends itself to those who want to enjoy a country-like setting while still having the convenience of being close to shopping, dining and entertainment.

DiPonio said Staley Hills’ success is driven not only by its quality homes but also by its location adjacent to North Kansas City School District’s Staley High School and Bell Prairie Elementary School. Students also attend New Mark Middle School.

“The schools have been a huge influence for buyers,” she said. “But this is also a great location for highway access for those who commute. It’s only about 15 minutes to the airport and 20 minutes downtown. You can’t beat that.”

This ideal location appeals to out-of-town buyers. “We have four new residents from out of state and a lot more showing interest,” DiPonio said.

New homes in Staley Hills start in the upper $200,000s. Staley Hills is a master-planned, 138-acre community developed by Hunt Midwest Residential Real Estate. It is located at the intersection of Shoal Creek Parkway and Woodland Avenue, just north of Missouri 152 and will include 363 homes when completed.
